I Joined as I hadn't been doing any sort of fitness.  I have really enjoyed my time at GWD yoga. Everybody is very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I come three times a week and if I can't come I try to change my days around so that I can fit in my yoga. It sets me up for the day as I like to get my exercise out of the way so I can get on with my day and it gives me a sense of accomplishment as I have done it. I always feel good after I have done it as well.  Physically since joining I have found that I have a lot more energy, I’m not as lethargic as I was before. Also I am toning up my body so I find my clothes are more loosely fitting now.  Mentally I am finding that my mind isn't as closed, it's very open. I am able to concentrate a lot more than what I used to be able to. It gives me time out from the everyday, I’ve got time for myself. I’ve met a lot of ladies here, it’s like a social aspect as well.  I didn't expect that I would enjoy it as much as I do. I now like the routine of my exercise. It's good.  I would recommend it to friends and family as it is really valuable for money and for the aspect of them getting fit for themselves as well.

My time at GWD has been absolutely brilliant! The classes are a really good size so there aren't too many people in a class. The lessons are really well structured so we are building on a particular programme throughout the month and focusing on different areas. It has been really good. Physically it is just adding to the strength I am building in the gym sessions. It is a really good combination and mix of strength and flexibility.  I love the breathing and relaxation it brings to me. I always sleep so much better after I have had my yoga class. The yoga breathing really helps with relaxation so I feel it is beneficial all round.  Sitting at a desk all day I've used the exercises GWD yoga has posted online throughout the day as I am sitting. I will use the breathing technique as well to calm my mind if I have a lot going on that day, just taking a couple of minutes to refocus and reset the mind, it's really beneficial.  Since doing yoga I am experiencing quicker recovery from the gym sessions and all round benefits.  I didn't expect I would enjoy it as much as I do. I have always liked yoga but the way the sessions are structured here they just seem to flow really well. I never feel uncomfortable if there's a pose where we are really testing our balance, I don't feel like everyone is watching you and it's a competition, everyone here works together. It's a really lovely atmosphere and environment.  The standout to me is how far I can progress in such a short space of time.  I would recommend it to absolutely everybody! Yoga benefits everyone, regardless of your age or your gender. I think everyone should give it ago at least once.
